My name is Lea, and I’m the heart, hands (and honestly, everything else) behind slow stitch.
Knitting has been part of my life since childhood. My mom taught me how to knit when I was young, but back then my patience wasn’t quite big enough to finish a piece, and my passion for it slowly faded into the background. That changed with the birth of my son.
During my parental leave, knitting became so much more than a hobby. It turned into a place of calm — a way to slow down, breathe, and find stillness in the middle of a busy everyday life.
At the end of 2025, I opened my Instagram account @slow.stitch_ to share my knitted pieces. What began as quiet sharing slowly grew into a dream: to create my own designs and knitting patterns — thoughtfully, slowly, and with so much love.
